About Me

A Journey on the Trail of Code and Technology

It all began during long days spent in front of the computer at home due to allergic asthma in my early childhood. Instead of playing in the streets, I was building my own world in my room with K'Nex toys, discovering the mysterious world of electronics. My true passion for software and logical reasoning blossomed thanks to the unforgettable game of my childhood, Power Rangers Zeo vs. The Machine Empire. Stuck on a level, I started tinkering with the game's save file. The moment I realized that the sequence of true and false flags corresponded to the levels I had passed became the turning point of my life. By unlocking those levels one by one, I was actually opening the doors to my future.

I pursued this curiosity self-taught on internet forums until high school, when I formalized it by enrolling in the Information Technologies (Database Programming) department at Anatolian Technical High School. During this period, I didn't just write code; I actively worked on the hardware side as well, from installing security cameras and managing servers to building hardware and setting up network infrastructures. After rapidly gaining junior and mid-level experience by developing projects at local companies, I stepped into my professional career as a Senior Developer in 2014.

My Expertise and Vision on Technology

The core of my professional career has always been the .NET ecosystem. While building my entire career on this powerful architecture, I have made technologies like SignalR, Blazor, Entity Framework, Avalonia, MAUI, and Azure my main areas of expertise. I actively use systems such as RabbitMQ and Redis to ensure high performance, sustainability, and scalability in architectural designs. Although I have provided solutions with different technologies like Java, Python, or AWS in large-scale projects, my heart has always belonged to the .NET world.

Leadership and Knowledge Sharing

During a part of my engineering career, I worked as a Corporate Career Trainer at Wimbledon. I delivered training to a wide audience ranging from business professionals to university students on C#, desktop and web software, advanced Excel VBA, system architecture, databases, and corporate cybersecurity. This process allowed me to combine my technical knowledge with people management and mentoring skills. Today, I lead teams as a Software Engineering Lead at pioneering institutions and manage large-scale software transformations.

Continuous Learning and Discovery

I believe that standing still in the tech world means falling behind. Following my bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Anadolu University, I earned professional certificates to expand my vision globally. I received specialized training in finance, cybersecurity, software architecture, artificial intelligence (AI for Business), leadership, and negotiation strategies from the world's leading universities such as the University of Cambridge, University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, University of Alberta, and University of Virginia.

Beyond the Code

Even when I'm not behind a computer screen, I keep creating. Through my indie brand spaceandtab.com, I develop both games and software — with titles like Cluck and Tag and Divine Protocol taking my creativity in a different direction.

With my belief in knowledge sharing, I write technical articles on Dev.to and interpret industry developments with my newsletter titled The Missing Link on LinkedIn. Besides these, I'm interested in hobbies like drone technologies and amateur radio; I also mentor young engineering candidates and organize symposiums in various universities and communities.
